Birth of Angel

This picture is the "cover art" I made for my second Zootopia fanfiction, "Birth of Angel". It was made using screen captures and Photoshop CS6. Zootopia belongs to Disney, of course! (I make no motion to claim any sort of rights upon that property, or even this image. This is purely for fan enjoyment! Legal stuff blah blah blah, support the movie!)

As of this writing, "Birth of Angel" is in-progress. It is technically a sequel to my previous work, "Animal Instinct", using the character developments from that piece while telling a completely different story. That said, I've been making sure to subtly recap any of the important developments from the original; my aim is to make this story perfectly accessible and enjoyable to those who'd rather skip the original. Further, "Birth of Angel" will not require any of the brief R-rated sexual stuff "Animal Instinct" required, making the tale more accessible in general. I highly recommend reading the original first due to the emotional foundation it provides, but it is not a necessity.

"Birth of Angel" is a longer, more ambitious project than its predecessor. I will be incorporating some semi-"meta" and non-linear storytelling elements (some of which were hinted at in the first chapter, and some of which are about to be introduced sometime in the near-ish future). I would not call it "mystic", "religious", or "sci-fi". It's more like a story about stories, if you will. It's about how characters, stories, and worlds progress over time. It's about the futures we choose for ourselves. As such, "Birth of Angel" will have FAR larger repercussions on the world of Zootopia than its predecessor.
